A new stone built hideaway on the site of an old barn. This very spacious open plan one bed property has wonderful panoramic views on 3 sides across rolling Rutland countryside.
An airy barn finished to our high standards, combining modern and traditional, with underfloor heating and a spacious open plan layout, wheelchair accessible with level access from the driveway and level thresholds throughout.
To meet the needs of our customers, this barn is fully accessible and finished the highest visit England accessibility standards. Including ample space for wheelchair access in all rooms, lowered hob, wheel under sinks and hide and slide ovens for an effortless stay. We have designed in a generous turning circle and transfer space for wheelchairs in the accessible wet room, alongside sturdy grab rails and a continuous tiled floor.
You will find the cottage well equipped with a washer-dryer, dishwasher, microwave and espresso machine.
The 4m x 5m bedroom works either as a twin or a super king, with raised beds to allow for a travel hoist if required.
This property was completed in September 2024 and has incorporated a number of design elements to be even more accessible than The Stables and The Tack Room as a result of valuable guest feedback.

The Haybarn is situated to the north of The Tack Room, with a private, level access dog proof garden. It has wonderful views over parkland to the east and west, with wild flower filled woodland beyond the level garden. You are only 2 minutes walk in to the idyllic village of Ayston set in unspoilt park land with its unique white park railings, red phone box and old trees. You are connected with nature through every window and tree top views to the North.
The Tack Room is a great place to stay - it is comfortable, well equipped and set in beautiful surroundings. I stayed for a business trip and it was brilliant to come back to somewhere spotlessly clean, peaceful and relaxing at the end of a busy day. Sarah and her team have created somewhere really special that I would be very happy to recommend
